in Springfield, MO.  There were 160+ cars & trucks at this show.

How it used to look.......BORING!

I purchased this truck from a dealer in Mass. off of
the internet thru autortrader.com ...yep, plugged in
year, color, price I wanted.
My truck was purchased used in June '02
with 13K miles on it, on Friday the 13th, for $13,000!
I'm not superstitious!

I took a photo similar to the above shot of my truck
and "added" the wheels and paint mods using a photo-editor.
Here's what things looked like before Feb. 23, 2003 in my "proposal"...

Once my design was finished, the following 3 steps were put into place...
BACK FROM THE PAINTERS - STEP 1  Feb. 24, 2003
The hood was painted semi-flat black and the side nerfs painted yellow.
I added the pinstriping around hood/grill.

STEP 2 - WHEELS/TIRES JUST CAME IN Feb. 27!
BLING - BLING!
I hadn't removed the 2 1/2" rear lift blocks in the photos below yet.

Then, I added the 4.0 High Performance Emblems!  On the hood...
...and on the tail gate!

The tail lights are TYC's that were modified to fit and the top clear lenses tinted red.

Then, March 6, 2003, the side stripes were added to complete STEP 3!
The front grill emblem was changed out to black & yellow too.

...and have now added color-matched rear Ford emblem!

The truck was your basic "loaded" stock Ford Ranger Edge Stepside Ext. Cab,
w/4.0 SOHC; 4x4; 4:10LS; Auto-trans w/o.d.; Tach; Tilt; Pwr windows,
mirrors & locks; Factory remote engine start & remote door locks;
6-disk CD; Factory dark window tint; rear slider; Ford bed liner;
16" alum. wheels;

CURRENT MODS:
K&N FIPK; Silverstars 9005 & 9007 lights; Bassani Stainless-steel Catback,
Apten Flash dual-Programmer, TYC black Alteezas (modified),
Clear Corners, XLT 3rd brake light, window ventshade, Aurora Spark wires,
Motorcraft Dbl Plats, 4.0 High perf. emblems, Granatelli MAF;
YEL/BLK Ford oval emblems; Explorer dome light; Painted Semi-flat hood;
Painted nerfs yellow; added Wheelskins leather steering wheel wrap;
wheels are 20" Boss 304s and tires are 265/50R Goodyear Eagle RSA's;
Removed EDGE & 4x4 sticker emblems; removed rear lift blocks;
